BESS & Energy Research Lead

Shan is the BESS and Energy Research Lead at Rho Motion, where he focuses on forecasting BESS battery demand and developing new models to better understand market trends. He also leads the company’s energy outlook, which includes forecasting solar and wind capacity to help shape future energy planning. Shan has also worked extensively on developing Rho’s EV charging infrastructure coverage. Shan holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Leeds and an MPhil in Development Economics from the University of Cambridge.
