Throughout June 2026, lithium inventories were drawn down moderately, as robust consumption outstripped restocking efforts. Opportunistic restocking early in the month, spurred by dipping raw materials prices, reduced the pressure to buy lithium chemicals by the end of the period. By the end of June, lithium carbonate and hydroxide inventory had fallen 1,400 tonnes LCE.
