Soad is a Senior Analyst leading Benchmark’s coverage of synthetic graphite and the anode materials markets. She has three years of experience covering cathode materials such as nickel and cobalt, with a strong focus on sustainability—developing Benchmark’s Sustainability Indices, supporting life cycle assessments, and delivering consulting projects. Soad holds a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees, most recently from the University of Leeds, where she specialised in sustainable cities design.
