As a result there is a growing demand for pricing which takes into account the sustainability credentials of the raw materials needed. Market participants have requested new indexes to help with greater transparency around more ESG-compliant material. As a result Benchmark has launched a sustainable lithium carbonate price as well as two sustainable nickel prices. This video explains how the prices are assessed and the purpose behind their launch.
